We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Your films and footage

Your films belong to your wedding, and we treat them that way.

  • Private by default. Your films are only available through your client area and any share link you choose to create. Share links can be switched off at any time.
  • On our website and social media only with your agreement. We only show a film, a still or your names publicly if you've agreed to it. You can change your mind; we'll take it down from our website and our social media accounts, though we can't recall copies other people have already shared.
  • Your guests. Guests and children appear in wedding footage. Before anything is used publicly, we check with you, and we'll remove or blur someone on request where we can.
  • Raw footage. We keep unedited footage only as long as we need it to make and deliver your films (see "How long we keep it").

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

Provider What they do for us
Cloudflare Hosts the website, client area and database, and stores your films
Resend Sends sign-in links, delivery emails and reminders
PayPal Processes deposit and balance payments

Some of these providers may store or handle information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they protect it with safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

We'll share information with the police or other authorities only if the law requires it.

Cookies

We only use cookies the site needs to work:

  • Security cookies our hosting provider uses to block spam and attacks, including on the forms.

Because these are strictly necessary, we don't ask for consent. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

To use any of these, email enquiries@mikeymontage.com. We'll reply within one month. Some rights have limits; for example, we have to keep payment records for tax.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
